| Description: |

An open graded coarse aggregate, produced by crushing, washing
and screening high calcium or dolomitic limestone.
A white to light gray colored sedimentary rock formed by the precipitation
of calcium carbonate from sea water. The
particles are sized from 1/2” (12.5mm) to #4 mesh (4.75mm). |

Limestone should be blended into the hot mix asphalt mixture along with other coarse and
fine aggregates, asphalt cement and any other special additives in the proportions
detailed in the mix design. |
