Safe and Healthy Work Conditions
We will provide safe and healthy working conditions for our employees to prevent injuries and illnesses. All employees, at every level of the organization, are empowered and expected to take appropriate actions to maintain safe and healthy working conditions.
Protect the Environment
We will protect the environment by implementing our EHS management system, decreasing emissions, minimizing waste, preventing pollution and identifying recycling and reuse opportunities. We will use processes, practices, and materials that avoid, reduce, or control pollution to the greatest extent technologically and economically feasible.
Compliance
We will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, permits, and other requirements, and will develop and employ more restrictive internal standards where necessary to conform to our environmental, health and safety expectations.
Risk Management
We will integrate risk management into all operations. Through the assessment of risk, the elimination of hazards or the implementation of effective controls, we will reduce the risk of injury or illness to our employees and the risk of harm to the environment.
Participation
Employee consultation and engagement is critical to the success of our operations. Management and employees (and worker’s EHS representatives where they exist) will work together to establish and review EHS objectives and targets that advance the goal of preventing all environmental, health and safety incidents, providing a safe and healthy workplace, and maintaining environmental integrity.

We commit to the continual improvement of our EHS management system, processes, environmental impacts, and the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the communities where we operate. All operations are routinely reviewed for opportunities to improve the way we do business.

Every year, Levy gives back to the community with Junior Achievement programs like Finance Park, Journey2Jobs and JA in a Day classroom experiences that are all focused on financial literacy, entrepreneurship and career readiness.
In an effort to build relationships with our neighbors and empower employees, Levy supports employee-driven initiatives to serve the unique needs of the communities in which we work. These range from toy drives, to neighborhood cleanups, mentorship programs and more.
Many of our executives serve on the boards of non-profits in the communities where we work, live and play offering their experience beyond the office.
The Levy Group of Companies proudly supports Junior Achievement with our time, talent and investment to help impact over 60,000 students, be part of over 600,000 hours of instruction and enthusiastically serve in JA’s team of 2,500+ volunteers each year.
As part of our centennial celebration, every Levy location supported Habitat for Humanity with over 480 employees helping to build homes, communities and hope in 18 cities and 6 countries around the world.
Levy encourages employees to get involved in their communities by responding to local challenges with creative solutions. Our Wallace Stone employees collaborate with the Great Lakes Bowfishing Championship to sponsor an annual event that extracts 350,000 lbs of invasive carp from Saginaw Bay.

We value the land we mine, and we do our best to be good stewards of the land. Creating a second harvest takes thoughtful planning and good relationships with our neighbors and the communities in which we work. At Levy Technical Laboratories, we understand that the materials and products we test don’t only exist in the vacuum of the laboratory. They have practical implications, make an impact on the environment, and are often the basis of our customer’s businesses.
